The Harbour Business Forum is helping to shape a vision for Hong Kong's harbour through studying best practices around the world. Although each city has and is taking different approaches, the respective results have been visually aesthetic, economically rewarding, environmentally friendly and socially beneficial for both citizens and visitors.

Looking around the world there are a number of harbours that Hong Kong can study and draw upon for inspiration. There is much we can learn from what other city planners have been through in developing a plan and vision for their respective harbours, the actual infrastructure build outs, and more importantly, the benefits these transformations have brought to their citizens.
