This study executed by MVA Hong Kong Limited has put forward ideas to make Hong Kong Asia’s ‘Traveler Friendly’ city through an environmental transport strategy that includes a comprehensive pedestrian network alongside rail and road infrastructure plans already in the pipeline.

Exciting ideas include an undersea cross-harbour tunnel walkway to bring the two sides of the harbour together and to become a new feature for Hong Kong, a continuous Harbour waterfront walkway, pedestrian corridors that reach up to the hillside trails connecting the mountain, the city and the sea enabling residents and visitors to make a wide variety of journeys on foot or to just meander around taking in Hong Kong life.
