Luncheon Presentationon
“Eating and drinking @ the Hong Kong Harbourfront”
By Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI)
We are pleased to bring you a new study undertaken by a student team from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) in the U.S. The study is co-sponsored by the HBF and Designing Hong Kong. The purpose of this study is to identify and prioritize the constraints and opportunities in providing food and beverage facilities and promoting an al fresco dining culture along the Hong Kong harbour waterfront.
The WPI students have conducted a survey with the users and operators of existing food and beverage facilities along the harbourfront. From the findings of the survey, together with overseas experience and their own observations, the study team has generated recommendations for enhancing the eating and drinking experience at the harbourfront.
